Introduction	These records include board meeting minutes from the following fire districts that consolidated to become Clark County Fire and Rescue: Clark County Fire District #11 (minutes for meetings from February 08, 1961 through December 23, 2009); Clark County Fire District #12 (minutes for meetings from September 15, 1962 through January 22, 2008); Clark County Fire District #14 (minutes for meetings from April 3, 1978 through February 13, 2001); and the Fairgrounds Fire Facilities Board (minutes for meetings from April 19, 1998 through November 12, 2009). Minutes are the official record of the proceedings of the Board(s). Minutes may include date, board members present, summary of official reports from various departments, budget approvals and other committee business. The records in this collection are indexed by date. Clark County Fire & Rescue’s administrative offices are located in Clark County in the City of Ridgefield. Clark County Fire District #12 took over operations of Clark County Fire District #14 in 2001. Clark County Fire District #11 and Clark County Fire District #12 consolidated in 2008 to become the Clark County Fire & Rescue. Since 1998, the Fairgrounds Fire Facilities Board has operated a fire station in cooperation between Clark County Fire and Rescue and Clark County Fire District #6. All records are in English.
