“Immaculate Conception Cemetery was established in 1901 and is under the Spokane Catholic Diocese. It is not well maintained by anyone, although used by the Immaculate Conception Church in Davenport. This cemetery is also known as Davenport Catholic Cemetery.”
“It appears to be abandoned now, overgrown with weeds, many stones broken, illegible or missing. At times people have made a project of cleaning it up, but that is short lived, if not done at least a couple times a year.”
“Judging from the burial list, the first burial was in the early 1900s, the last burial in 1975. It appears to have more room for burials which is not being used. I also compared my findings with older records. Many I did not find a stone for.”
“I walked and read this cemetery on Aug 21, 2001, using my digital camera. Entries followed by an asterisk * I do not have a photo of. Entry is from an obit or church records.”
